Victorian Trade Card Rumford Yeast Powder - image 1 of 3

This old Rumford Yeast Powder trade card has a wonderful image of a small girl with long curly hair and a pink outfit. There is a string of beads around her neck that cleverly spell out RumfordYeastPowder in a little subliminal message. The card extols the virtues of Rumford’s (baking) powder as the best and the cheapest!

The card measures 5 x 3 1/8 inches and is on relatively thin paper. The card has been pasted in an album and the back of the card has 4 dots of damage from where the glue was positioned. There is also a small chip on the right lower corner.

Trade cards and postcards are light and multiple items can be mailed for the same price as a single item in a stiffened document mailer, so if you purchase several cards, please wait to pay until I can adjust the shipping as appropriate.
