this bebe stands 10 2/3" tall (27 cm).

French bebe with a bisque head incised ' DEP 2 ' . the heads incised DEP were bought in germany for the french market. When they were sold with the trademark BEBE JUMEAU, a red stamp 'TETE JUMEAU' was added AND the body was a Jumeau body with the label 'BEBE JUMEAU Diplôme d'Honneur', When they were sold in the big shops the bodies were mainly SFBJ body.
Here is for sale a DEP head size 2 with a SFBJ body size 2. (Sometimes the DEP heads size 2 had a SFBJ body size 3).
Open mouth , sleeping eyes with works very well.
The bisque is in good condition but note : there is a flaw factory - see pics- at the rear (a kind of red line), there is maybe a very superficial hairline (very very difficult to see, only with a grazing light). These defects are minor.
The body is in good used condition with original painting and body finish, incised '2' between the shoulders and '2' under the feet. note a minor painting touch at one foot.
original human hair wig in good used condition.
The costume is a reproduction of a Bleuette costume period 1920 ('Pierrette').
