Contents: Photographers Darius and Tabitha Kinsey were well-known for photographing and documenting the Washington state logging industry in the late 19th and early 20th century. However two more of the Kinsey family, brothers Clarke and Clarence were also photographers who traveled to the Yukon in the late 19th century when gold was discovered and their photographs helped document the gold rush.

This book contains photographs of the gold rush in the area of Grand Forks which is the area in where the most lucrative gold strikes occurred. While the Yukon gold rush was documented by many photographers, they mostly concentrated on the Dawson area which makes this book unique in its concentration on Grand Forks.
