Souvenirs of Egypt, these two small papyrus paintings depict the ancient Egyptian pharaoh Akhenaten, who came to the throne around 1349 BCE, performing a sun ritual with his wife Queen Nefertiti, and one of their children. One painting measures approx. 6" x 4" (15.2cm x 10.1cm), the other 6.25" x 4" (15.9cm x 10.1cm). Paintings come with a handwritten description on a piece of notepaper from the Ramses Hilton in Cairo. They have been stored rolled up and will be shipped that way. In excellent vintage condition.
