Walt Disney's DONALD DUCK'S ATOM BOMB by Carl Barks, 1947. Probably the rarest of the General Mills Corp. cereal giveaways. When Walt Disney discovered that this story was published, he had it banned since the atom bomb was the most feared weapon of its' time. As a result there were no further printings of this particular cereal giveaway comic after the first printing. Very few of this particular giveaway exist today. This item is in very good condition, the only flaw detected is a small chip out of the left upper margin corner of the last page, confined to the margin only (see photograph's) and very light age toning. Otherwise, complete with no loose, torn or missing pages. There were two printings, one from America with the Seven Dwarfs and the Cheerios cereal box advertisement on last page of comic and the Canadian version that had the Wheaties cereal box advertised at rear of comic. This is the American edition and first printing. Height is 3 3/8" and width is 6 3/4". Free shipping and insurance.
