This signed Baccarat French crystal figurine has been made in the form of a crouching tiger. The tiger's body has been formed with ripples which suggest the characteristic stripes that adorn the animal's fur. The rippled design also serves to highlight the liquid quality of the crystal.

The tiger is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. There are four circular felt tabs that have been applied to the base in order to protect the surface on which the piece is displayed. The tabs can be removed or left in place. As seen in photo five, the figurine bears the circular acid etched Baccarat logo on the underside of its body.

The tiger stands 2" at its tallest point and measures 5.5" long by 1.75" wide. The piece weighs in at 15.5oz.

This French crystal tiger figurine displays beautifully and would be a great addition to a collection of vintage Baccarat animals or to a grouping of fine lead crystal animals by other manufacturers. The piece works equally well as a stand alone decorative object or could be used as a paperweight. A great vintage find!
