This small hammer would probably be considered a toy by its size although it could certainly have been used for small jobs. It has a curved claw head with a flat face. The head is cast steel, a bit crude and painted black. The head is securely attached to a wood handle but I see no wedge in the end. The handle looks like it is probably original with red paint on the bulbous end.
It weighs less than 2 ounces and measures just over 7” long. The head measures about 2 1/8” from the hammer face to the back of the claw and about ½” thick across the top. It is in fairly good original condition with a little paint loss to both the head and the handle and a little bit of light rust where the paint is gone.
