This old tape measure was made by the Stanley tool company. It has a metal housing with a steel tape. On one side of the case is the Stanley logo and reads; 10 Feet No. 1210W. Across the bottom it reads; Add 2 Inches for Inside Measure. The back side reads; Made in U.S.A.. The steel tape has inch increments with 1/16” markings along the top and bottom edges. It is interesting because at the one foot mark it has two different markings. The bottom edge continues with the standard inch increments; 13” 14” etc. but the top edge changes to foot increments; 1F 1” – 1F 2” etc. Other marking on the tape read; Tru-Zero Hook – Patented – Keep Blade Clean. There are no markings on the back side of the tape. This is a manual retracting tape. It pulls out to 10’ and pushes in to retract.
The case measures about 2” by 2” by 5/8” thick and is nice condition with some paint loss to the logo area. The steel tape still pulls out and retracts as described. It is in fairly good condition with no kinks but it has some paint rub wear.
The pictures are not shown at actual size. Please refer to the description for actual measurements.
