Antique German two-story wooden dollhouse has a finely finished paper over wood exterior featuring elaborately arranged stone and brick work in tan, red and light green. Eight framed windows flank an extended central vestibule with blue opening double door with red and white pinstripe details. Four graduated wooden steps are painted in faux gray granite.

Above the vestibule is an etched diamond-paned glass window and above that is a divided glass attic window. Dark blue painted roof has two wooden chimneys. The sides have divided glass windows on each story. A very interesting detail are the outlines on all the window and front door trims. There are black shadow lines on the righthand side and white lines on the left.

The back is open for access to six interior rooms, each with original flooring and wallpapers. Steps in the vestibule lead down to a hallway. Original painted doors at each opening.

Made in 1" scale, it measures 28" tall x 27-3/4" wide x 13-3/4" deep. The chimneys are a replacement and some brick areas on the exterior have been expertly touched up as well as the wallpaper in the bottom righthand room (on the same wall as the door). We also believe the back side of the roof is a replacement and the roof has been re-painted. All in all, it's an eye-catching doll house with fancy architectural details and wonderful interior rooms.
