Rare antique German bisque head doll made ca. 1910-1912 by Kley & Hahn. His bisque head is made by Hertel, Schwab & Co. Character mold 167. The bisque head is free of damage or repair, no cracks, chips or restoration. The head is marked "K & H 167-13". The doll stands ca. 24.4" (62 cm) tall.
Glass sleep eyes with fully operational eye mechanism and original eye lid paint. Unfortunately he lost his original eyelashes. Open closed mouth with molded teeth . An original human hair wig.
Wood and composition toddler body in good condition.
This boy wears antique clothing, a sailor outfit, cotton underclothes, old oilcloth shoes.
