Spectacular crystal clear rhinestone brooch marked Weissco. In the pattern of a snowflake, this brooch consists of marquise, round and baguette-shaped rhinestones. The large center round crystal is the center point of the brooch, with rows of sparkling crystals, all prong-set in a rhodium-plated setting. Mint condition, a gorgeous piece. Circa: Early 1950s

A former employee of costume jewelry powerhouse Coro, Albert Weiss started the Weiss jewelry company in 1942. Collectors covet Weiss' expertly crafted work with rhinestones and floral and natural figural designs. Michael Weiss, Albert's son, inherited the business after his father's retirement, but the company eventually closed in the 1970s.
