HERE’S AN OUTSTANDING ORIGINAL VINTAGE SIGNED AND DATED 1989 HAND-PAINTED FIGURAL WOOD CARVING-SCULPTURE BY WILDLIFE ARTIST RICHARD “DICK” ERICKSON TITLED “GAMBEL QUAIL” THAT DISPLAYS A FULL-BODIED MALE GAMBEL QUAIL PERCHED ATOP THE SKELETAL STRUCTURE OF A CHOLLA CACTUS WHICH IS ATTACHED TO A NATURAL ORGANIC WOOD BASE!

Dimensions: The quail carving measures approximately eleven and one quarter inches (11 1/4”) in height to the top of the quail’s plume, six and one quarter inches (6 1/4”) in width at its widest point, by five and one half inches (5 ½”) in depth at its deepest point.

Signature: Signed on the underside bottom of the natural wood base with an inscribed signature that reads “Gambel Quail Dick Erickson 1989” along with a Roman numeral (see attached photos).

Condition: Excellent and clean condition – absolutely beautiful!
