HERE’S AN OUTSTANDING ARTIST-SIGNED AND DATED ORIGINAL VINTAGE MODERN MINIATURE OIL-ON-PAPER-ON-BOARD PAINTING THAT DISPLAYS THREE (3) MEXICAN/HISPANIC MEN, POSSIBLY MUSICIANS WITH GUITARS, WEARING COLORFUL CLOTHING, SERAPES, AND WIDE-BRIMMED HATS WHO ARE RENDERED IN AN IMPRESSIONIST STYLE!

Please Note: This artist-signed and dated oil painting still retains its original matting, wooden frame, glass front, and paper backing.

Also, Please Note: This oil painting looks to have been completed on paper which is then mounted to a thick sheet of white artist’s board, which itself was then mounted to a slighter larger sheet of dark green artist’s board. Consequently, there are three layers to the painting itself.

Dimensions: The painting itself measures approximately three inches (3”) in height by four and one eighth inches (4 1/8”) in width. The overall dimensions of the wood frame are approximately eleven and three quarters inches (11 3/4”) in height by twelve and one quarter inches (12 1/4”) in width.

Signature: Signed with what appears to be the artist’s first initial “S” followed by the artist’s last name, which is indecipherable at the time of this writing. There is also what appears to be the date “73” or “75”. The artist’s signature and date are located along the lower left side within the red clothing of one of the figures (see photos above to make your own determination).

Condition: The painting and original matte board are is in excellent and clean condition. The wooden frame is generally in very good and clean condition with some small scuffs scattered around the perimeter. And the paper backing, which is fully intact, does have a few small stains.
