REDUCED 1960's Sally Milgrim Red Windowpane Dress With Rhinestones - image 1 of 10

Here is a red windowpane long sleeve dress designed by Sally Milgrim for the Milgrim stores. The specialty stores were established in the 1920's in NYC. Later more stores were opened in other cities in the US. They were known for importing French designs. This 1960's dress is made of a red knit material in a check or windowpane design. The open squares have red netting within them. Red rhinestones are interspersed throughout. It has a flesh colored lining. There is a 22" metal zipper down the back so the dress can be stepped into instead of being put over the head. It is basically a straight style. I would say that it is a size 6 or 8. The measurements are: Armpit to armpit 36", Waist 34", Hips 35", Sleeve length 21", Length from shoulder seam 41 1/2" and Across back of shoulders 15 1/2". There is some pilling especially on the inner arms. Also there is some wear around the neckline with some broken threads.
