This item is a superb FOUR PIECE DRESSER VANITY SET by GORHAM. It consists of a mirror, comb, hair brush and clothes brush. All of the pieces are marked - Sterling, C830 - c1863 to 1890. The pieces are in excellent condition. There are a few bristles missing from the hair brush. The repousse pattern consists of numerous cherubs and flowers. The comb is marked “genuine shell”. This is truly a beautiful set. The pieces are monogrammed. We think the monogram is ACC. Gorham was founded in Providence, Rhode Island in 1831 and has always been a highly influential manufacturer. Among Gorham’ s major trophy commissions are the Davis Cup, the America’s Cup and the Borg-Warner Trophy.
