Vintage Glass Sanitary Cheese Preserver with Lid
A heavy and thick early 1940’s glass Sanitary Cheese Preserver with directions on lid, used to preserve cheese on counter top. The lid is imprinted with Sanitary Cheese Preserver Remove Lid Daily Place Third Pint Vinegar and One TBS Full Salt in Bottom Slightly Diluted with Water.
Light greenish tint to glass, lid has a molded round glass knob, inside preserver are molded glass dividers. Spins on flat surface. Straw marks, bubbles and no seams seen in glass.
Size: 7 ½” dia x 6 ¼” tall with lid on weight: 6lbs
Condition: Looks unused. No nicks, chips or breaks. Please look closely at all pictures.
