This remarkable piece is an estate item purchased in Paris 40 years ago. An elaborate sewing box is the base for the miniature hat shop. It’s covered in gold embossed leather with a silk interior. One side is opened to form the display. It’s filled with little vintage hats, hat stands, boxes and a long blonde doll wig. All contents are original from time of purchase.

There are 11 hat stands ranging in size from 1-1/4” to 3-1/4” tall.

There are nine petite hats from about 7/8” to 2” across the bottom.

There are two very fine early small carton boxes. One fancy wig about 3” long overall. Shown open on one side the sewing box is 7” tall and 9-1/2” deep.
