Plain rectangular, hinged to one side with button held clasp to the other, the lid with 'JK' monogram, gilt interior, stamped with Austrian import marks. Made in 1901 by Cohen & Charles, London.

A nice quality box from a gentleman's toilet set with a pleasing clasp to fix the lid. The extra marks on the piece are Austrian import stamps that were in use 1901-1921. The initials look possibly later than 1901 and may relate to its later transfer to Austria.
