An engraved rectangular sterling silver cigarette case , monogrammed and made by Henry Herbert Friend of Birmingham, England in 1919. The rear side being concave. Well hallmarked inside which was given a gold wash.

Size : L. 8.5 cm. ( 3 11/32" ) x B. 7.5 cm. ( 2 61/64" ) x H. 1.5 cm. ( 0 19/32" ).

Weight : 74 g. ( 2.61 ounces ).

Condition : very good - two tiny dents / dimples ( grossly exaggerated by the camera ). The clasp has a tight grip - original elastic band is missing ! The inside has some ' smudge' on it - can be cleaned gently.
