Each with applied rosettes to the sides and an acanthus band to the rim, original Puiforcat fitted case.
These have the maker's mark of Emile Puiforcat, one of the original founders of the company, which continued in use by his grandson Jean Puiforcat well into the 20th century. These are of very fine quality as typifies the production of this important Paris firm and the condition is excellent. Puiforcat silver is always , we believe, popular with collectors, as indeed are wine coasters.
