This gorgeous charm in a shape of a tag is one of the most charming of Russian gems we have come across !

The simple, 14 karat rose gold plate has a mirror smooth finish and is decorated with sweet enamel and chased floral motif in deep red, blue, green and white. It is stamped with Imperial Russian Zolotnik mark "56" for 14 karat gold and a makers mark in Cyrillic writing. We have not been able to identify the maker but it is most likely to date from 1880-1895.There are additional hallmarks on the loop of the pendant, again with the same makers mark as well as the city mark, but this is too rubbed to make out.

The enamelled rectangle measures 20.51 mm north to south and 14.06 mm side to side, the total length of it including the bale is 30.29 mm. It is 0.56 mm in thickness and weighs 2.4 grams. It is in lovely antique condition.
