A fine pair of mid 19th century portraits which are printed on linen. Each with a young woman in an oval with a swagged drapery back drop in fine dress. All of the image is in a sepia tone and is finely rendered. They are in carved and gilt oval frames. Condition is very good. One has a slight loss at the waistline near the belt buckle. It may have just shifted over in the frame. Circa: 1850. Dimensions: Height: 18 1/2", Width: 15 1/2", Frame Height: 21 3/4", Width: 18 1/2", Depth: 1".
