This lovely 17” doll was made by Kestner and is mold 168. Her head has no cracks, chips, or repairs. She still retains her original plaster pate and really great blond mohair wig. She has bright blue open and closing eyes with eyelids original. The only issue on the whole doll is that she had real lashes originally and there are just remnants of those now. Her bisque is really well done. She has square cut teeth. Her Kestner marked body is in the original finish without any repaint or repairs. It is about as good as it gets. She wears a onesie, a petticoat, a pale blue full length underdress, a fine very lightweight sheer cotton dress with lace accents, and her original socks and oilcloth shoes. Her clothes have just been laundered and pressed. There are two mends in the skirt of the dress near the side seam in back. The only thing replaced were the ribbons which had melted over time. There is a ribbon threaded through underneath the lace waistband that ties in the back, matching the cuff ribbons and front bow.
