This is a professionally made couturier costume for the French fashion Poupee of the Victorian era. A one of a kind unique three piece apparel that has been meticulously constructed by hand and machine stitched. Designed with navy blue silk taffeta accentuated with five tiny pearl type buttons on the jacket with hook and eye closures. Decorative lace surrounds the collar with a pretty bow in the back of the jacket. The skirting has three rows of pleating with embellished scallop lace and a row of antique lace adorned and edged at the hemline. A complimentary matching hat completes the attire with a rim to match the exquisite bow of the jacket. A sophisticated an appealing costume for the 15 to 16" French Fashion Poupee. Excellent.
