Internationally Known Brand and Recognizable Quality, Each Piece in this Spectacular Set has Been Hand Crafted to the Highest of International Standards, An Ultra Luxurious Addition to Any Finely Set Table, Stately Victorian Elegance and Style and Outstanding Value for Money. Adey Bellamy Savory established his fabricating business in 1812 at 14 Cornhill, London. Until 1833 he was variously listed as a goldsmith (1812), a dealer in foreign coins (1815) and a spoons and forks manufacturer (1831). In 1833 his sons, Joseph Savory (Sr) and Albert Savory, entered in the business and the firm changed its name to A.B. Savory & Sons. The firm became renowned amongst the European Aristocracy for the elegance and quality of their works and this set is a stunning example of the intricacy of their craftsmanship. The firm's silver manufacturing facilities (gold and silver, jewelry, electro and Sheffield plate, watches and clocks) was established at 5 Finsbury Place South. The firm was a favorite of the British Royal Family, in addition to the Aristocracy of France. In 1866 A.B. Savory & Sons was converted into a limited liability company and changed the name to Goldsmiths' Alliance Ltd. They operated in the new factory at 18 Red Lion Street, Clerkenwell.

The Larger Milk / Cream Pitcher with Gold Plated (Vermeil) Interior is 15.00 cm. High to the Top of the Handle, 14.00 cm. The Stately Teapot is 19.50 cm. High to the Top of the Lid, 25.00 cm. Across from the Tip of the Spout to the End of the Handle and Weights 707 grams. It is also Stamped on the Underside "A. B. Savory & Sons" plus the Appropriate British Sterling Silver Hallmarks. The First Small Dessert Serving Presentation Platter Measures Roughly 19.00 cm. in Length and 18.00 cm. Wide. It Weights 371 grams and is also Stamped on the Underside with the Appropriate British Sterling Silver Hallmarks. The Second Small Dessert Serving Platter Measures Approximately 18 cm. in Length and is 18 cm. Wide. It Weights 355 grams and is also Stamped on the Underside with the Appropriate British Sterling Silver Hallmarks. The Second Small Milk / Cream Pitcher is 12.50 cm. High to the Top of the Handle, 14.50 cm. Across from the Tip of the Spout to the End of the Handle and Weights 279 grams. It is also Stamped on the Underside "A. B. Savory & Sons" plus the Appropriate British Sterling Silver Hallmarks. The Amazing Accompanying Serving Tray is Silver Platted and Measures Approximately 67 cm. in Diameter. It is Stamped on the Underside "Odiot a Paris" and Weights an Astounding 6,800 grams. There is only slight wearing of the Silver Plate on the underside of the feet, Otherwise the Platter is in Extremely Good Condition.
