The head of this Victorian beauty glows with five faceted turquoise paste stones. It is 2 inches in diameter, in pewter tone metal, being embossed with a leaf pattern. These is a central round stone, with the remaining four encircling it. The central stone is bordered in a rope design. It is slightly loose in its setting. The back is enclosed.

The finding is of the normal crimp variety. The pin shank is 8-1/2 inches long. This is likely a transitional hat pin, with usually shorter Victorian pin shanks moving toward the much longer ones of the Edwardian era.

Take this one home with confidence that it is authentic and in excellent antique condition. It emanates from a decades long collection and will be a great addition to a new one.
